Right now, I'm sitting in our living room, watching the 1st season on DVD with my little son (well, actually, I'm watching it because he's only 5 months old). :) When I first read about the movie on another website (a few minutes ago!), I was extremely dissappointed - hollywood has a way of destroying nostalgia by trying to "update" it with crude jokes, pop culture, and the like. I'd be very, very dissappointed in any Jim Hansen project that showed the muppets as dumbed down pop creatures. The original series was brilliant, profound insights into life were handled very well, and it had enough depth to entertain adults. The original series didn't need pop "jokes". Fraggles had their own sense of humor. Why change the formula?

I wish you the best of luck with your writing!Jack's Mommyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/11314488951433361399noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22582956.post-59688439489366958062008-09-10T05:14:00.000-07:002008-09-10T05:14:00.000-07:00good information thank youfilm izleşarkı sözlerigood information thank you

film izle
şarkı sözleriSeyhanhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/01977903238166510296noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22582956.post-87805177572835447242008-08-06T03:41:00.000-07:002008-08-06T03:41:00.000-07:00sohbetsohbetredhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07805281837470504210noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22582956.post-24026622506869970952008-06-25T19:57:00.000-07:002008-06-25T19:57:00.000-07:00I am thrilled to see that this movie is being made...I am thrilled to see that this movie is being made...I am a huge fan of the series and can't wait to see what you all come up with! We tried to make "Hoodwinked" distinctly different from "Shrek."

(check out this old blog: http://coryscuriosities.blogspot.com/search?q=shrek)

You may still feel "Hoodwinked" shares a lot with "Shrek," but it owes more to Bugs Bunny, Jay Ward's "Fractured Fairytales," and any Muppet send-up of a common tale.

And no characters throw up on someone or kick them in the crotch in my movie.

But if you still think there's a lot of "Shrekking" in "Hoodwinked," I can understand that. I guess that all depends on what is meant by "shrekking it up." Maybe Cory will 'splain....What you think he means by that expression?

I actually did like Shrek, by the way (although I liked Shrek2 more).
