Writer's Update
Now freshly hammered with notes from all parties involved, I am heading into the second draft of Fraggle Rock. Fear not, no disastrous notes like adding a funny robot sidekick. Every producer and studio exec has been really cool, almost "Fraggle-like" with their enthusiasm and notes for the script. It feels like everyone is pulling for the same thing.
We've had lengthy discussions about the plot and character details, and I am so grateful to have some Fraggle Experts in the room. There are many, like Ahmet Zappa, who know far more than I about what Gobo would do or what Uncle Matt really thinks. And Lisa Henson has been constantly watchful over maintaining a true Fraggle Rock tone.
As a surprise, I even drew up 100 storyboard panels for a chase sequence. I hope it has helped to get the team into the "visual groove" that's in my head.

Yes, I have a groove in my head. Maybe it's more of a divot. Or just an empty spot where I used to access my adjectives. Words falling from brain now. Not type good no. Must go write happy good script yes... bye.

Great random links on this post Cory. Very funny.
BTW, you think you could get Ahmet to sign my Joe's Garage record?
Hey Cory, I just wanted to be one more creepy fan/stalker to thank you for giving us updates on life, Hoodwinked, and Fraggles. The fact that you find time to keep us in the loop so informally is really awesome. I don't want that to go by unappreciated, because it's really impressive that you care enough to do this. :>
Best of luck with the script!
will there be gorgs in the movie?
AJ: Thanks for the mad propers. You rock.
Jennifer: As of right now, the Gorgs are in the movie in a very small, peripheral way. We're trying to work it out to make sure they are in there, but they are not the focus of the movie.
Keefer: Absolutely. Get me the album and I'm sure Ahmet would get a kick out of signing it.
Man, writing a Movie script and storyboarding it is so hard! creating; editing; reading; editing again; piching; etc. it's hard work! I'm trying to write a kids TV script, and, well...it's going on nicely.
I'm 32 years old, and I can't tell you how exited I am about this movie.
nice blog.
where is this movie going to be shot?
I'm a prop maker in LA.
